Acceptable use policy

What may and may not be done with a DomainGorkha account, a website built on it, and the messages sent through it.

Last updated 12 October 2026

In short

  • Nothing illegal, deceptive or harmful, and nothing that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Text messages and newsletters go only to people who agreed to hear from you.
  • No attempts to break into, overload or resell the platform.
  • We may take content down or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

This summary is here to help. Where it and the full text below differ, the full text applies.

01Who this applies to

This policy applies to everyone who uses DomainGorkha: account owners, the members of their workspaces, and anyone acting for them. It covers websites, forms, newsletters, text messages, files and anything else created, stored or sent through the platform. It forms part of the Terms of service.

02Content that is not allowed

Do not publish, store or send anything that:

  • Is unlawful in Nepal or in the place it is aimed at, or promotes an unlawful activity.
  • Deceives people: phishing pages, fake login or payment pages, impersonation of a person, business, bank or government body, or false claims about a product.
  • Promotes scams or schemes that take money on false promises, including pyramid schemes and fraudulent investment or job offers.
  • Infringes someone's copyright, trademark or other rights, or uses a person's photograph or details without permission.
  • Sexually exploits or endangers children. This is reported to the authorities.
  • Is pornographic or sexually explicit.
  • Threatens, harasses or incites violence or hatred against a person or a group.
  • Sells goods or services that are illegal or that require a licence you do not hold, such as unlicensed medicines, weapons, gambling or financial services.
  • Exposes private information about someone without their consent.
  • Contains malware, or links to it.

03Text messages and email

Messages sent through DomainGorkha, whether by text or by email, must be wanted by the people who receive them.

  • Send only to people who gave you their number or address and agreed to hear from you, or who are your existing customers being contacted about what they bought.
  • Never use bought, rented or scraped lists.
  • Say clearly who the message is from.
  • Give a way to stop further messages, and honour it promptly.
  • Follow the rules of the telecom operators and regulators that apply to you, including on sender names and sending times.

We limit how many messages can be sent and may pause sending that draws complaints or looks like spam.

04Protecting the platform

Do not:

  • Access, or try to access, an account, workspace or system that is not yours.
  • Probe, scan or test the platform for weaknesses without our written permission.
  • Get around plan limits, rate limits or payment, or create accounts in bulk to do so.
  • Overload the service, or use it to attack or overload anyone else.
  • Use automated tools to scrape the platform or other customers' sites.
  • Resell or sublicense the platform itself without an agreement with us.
  • Use a website mainly to store or distribute files unrelated to it.

If you find a security weakness, please tell us privately and give us time to fix it before telling anyone else.

05Using the AI features

  • Do not use them to produce content this policy forbids, to imitate a real person without consent, or to fabricate reviews, testimonials, credentials or statistics.
  • Do not present generated pictures or text as a record of real events.
  • Do not try to extract the instructions or models behind the features, or to make them act outside their purpose.
  • Do not upload other people's confidential or sensitive personal information to be processed.

06Domains and email accounts

Do not register a domain that imitates another business's name in order to mislead its customers, and do not use a domain or mailbox obtained through us for anything this policy forbids. Registries and email providers have rules of their own, and a breach of theirs is a breach of ours.

07What we do about a breach

Depending on how serious it is, we may ask you to change or remove something, take content offline ourselves, limit a feature, suspend a site or an account, or close an account. For serious harm, such as phishing or content that endangers a child, we act at once and without notice, and may report it to the authorities.

Where it is safe to, we tell you what was done and why, and you may write to us if you think we got it wrong. Suspension for a breach does not entitle you to a refund.

08Reporting abuse

To report a website, message or account that breaks this policy, write to hello@domaingorkha.com with the address of the site or the message concerned and what is wrong with it. To report copyright infringement, include the work that is yours, where it appears, and how to reach you. We review every report.
